Methodology / Transparency

Transparency & reproducibility

An Index people can trust starts with a methodology they can inspect. Magpire publishes its prompt templates, aggregate data, scoring model, and version history so every audit result is independently verifiable.

Transparency commitments

Published prompt templates

The buyer-intent prompts used in every audit are documented and version-controlled. While the exact prompt set evolves as query patterns change, the current templates are published alongside each methodology update. Researchers and partners can request the full prompt library.

On-demand re-auditability

Any firm can run a free Magpire Audit at any time and receive the same 0–100 Index score. The audit pipeline applies the identical prompt set and scoring model to every firm — there is no manual adjustment or hidden curation.

Versioned methodology

This methodology page is versioned. Every substantive change to the scoring model, weightings, or data-collection pipeline is documented with the date of change and the reasoning. Previous versions are preserved in the public changelog.

Third-party verification

Independent researchers and partners can verify the methodology by running audits on known test firms and cross-referencing results with the published aggregate statistics. Contact us for batch-access arrangements.

Public aggregate statistics

Anonymised, aggregated Magpire Index data is published on the Benchmarks hub and the Magpire Index Report. Every published cell contains at least five firms. No individual audit result, firm name, or domain is ever exposed.

Verify your own score

Run a free Magpire Audit and see the same methodology applied to your firm — no credit card needed.
